From Selena Gomez to Snoop Dogg and more, here are musicians who have hosted their own cooking shows.
While cooking and making music may seem like an unlikely pairing, several musicians have managed to turn their love of working in the kitchen into a side career by adding hosting their own cooking shows to their resumes.
Among the more established musicians turned cooking show hosts is country superstar Trisha Yearwood, who has hosted her own program on the Food Network for the better part of 10 years.
Other musicians are eager to learn. Such is the case with rapper and restaurateur Ludacris, whose awareness of his lack of cooking skills led him to host Luda can't cook to become Luda he can cook. On his show, Ludacris enlists the help of master chefs to teach him tips and tricks in the kitchen. The Selena Gomez Show, Selena + Cheffollows a similar premise, as viewers watch the singer and actress meet with a chef via video call to help her maximize her kitchen skills.
While most of these shows appeared on network television – such as Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart's VH1 show Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party — Many musicians have taken to the stream to share their favorite recipes. The BTS show, BTS recipe is shared on YouTube, as is Adam Gardner's Kitchen in quarantine.
Check out some of the artists who have taken their entertainment skills to their own cooking shows.
