Every week, Consequence plays on New Music Friday highlighting new albums to stream. We have reached mid-October and there is a ton of fantastic new albums to listen to this week.
Among the highlights are a warriors concept album by Lin-Manuel Miranda, MC5's first album in over 50 years, and fresh music by Jordana and Audrey Nuna. Additionally, Billie Joe Armstrong's side project Pinhead Gunpowder returns with a new project, their first this century, while Bon Iver returns with their first studio recording since 2019. Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham have released a full album of Buckingham Nicks versions. and the Japandroids have unleashed their swan song.
