Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson he is considered one of the smartest business minds in modern times as evidenced by his various holdings. 50 Cent recently visited Capitol Hill to discuss the lack of representation of Black-owned beverage companies in the adult beverage industry.
50 Cent was spotted in Washington, DC on Wednesday (June 5), as seen on his Instagram page. According The hillFif's visit was a surprise to members of Congress, which focused on the rapper and mogul angling to increase opportunities for prospective black adult liquor entrepreneurs.
Flanked by lawyer Ben Crump, 50, who owns Sire Spirits, he wants to see Black adult liquor companies reap some of the financial benefits of the lucrative industry.
“My experience here has been great,” 50 Cent said at a press conference after his conversation with Congress. “I went to talk to them about financial opportunity for everyone and it's really exciting. The response I got makes me feel that we have bright days ahead of us.”
Sire Spirits produces Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne among other holdings, and the space is expanding with many key figures such as Uncle Nearest's Fawn Weaver and others making their mark through their respective ventures.
At the end of the conversation, 50 took to Instagram and shared several photos with several politicians, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Rep. Nekima Williams, Rep. Lauren Bobert, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.
Some fans were taken aback by Fife taking it out on Rep. Bobert and President Johnson considering they are both members of the Republican Party, and especially Bobert who held controversial conservative views.
For what it's worth, Fif listened to the complaints and responded in his usual trolling fashion.
It seems Fif was aware of the discord in Congress after he remarked to his presser that Democrats and Republicans agree on almost nothing, but he was glad they decided to talk to him about the issue.
While 50 Cent didn't take a political stand during his time on Capitol Hill, some fans online say he was connected to the opps and are somewhat dragging his name through the mud. We highlight these comments from X, formerly of Twitter, below.
