It's been years since Eminem got into the restaurant game with his Detroit eatery, Mom's Spaghetti (which came off a famous line from his smash hit “Lose Yourself”). If you're wondering why it never branched off from 313, it's probably because it's supposed to make you spit a little something out.
At least that was the word on the street as popular online foodie and food vlogger Mr. ChimeTime, born Rashad Mooreman, just slammed Em's restaurant for serving him what he called the “worst” spaghetti he's ever had in his life. Taking to his channel to review Mom's Spaghetti posted on Saturday (February 17), ChimeTime gave Eminem his flowers for being “iconic” and “one of the best rappers who ever lived” before canceling his order for two different types of spaghetti and a spaghetti sandwich.
The results were far from glamorous as Chime went to town on his food review. “This is by far the worst spaghetti I've ever had in my entire life of eating spaghetti,” Chime said. Continuing to reign in fire and brimstone on the quality of the food, Chime went on to say, “When I tasted it, it kind of reminds me of high school cafeteria meat. But I'll put it 100 with you, high school cafeteria meat is better than this crap, bro.
In addition to the actual taste of the meal, Chime questioned the way the food was served saying that the container was open and the spaghetti spilled out of the box. It certainly didn't help that the food was “cold as f*ck” and that the sauce itself was “by far the blandest spaghetti sauce I've ever had.”
Marshall Mathers out here really adds credence to the idea that white folks don't know anything about flavor or spice. I am just saying'. Em might need to lay off some people or at least buy cans of Chef Boyardee with the truck and pass it off as his own or something.
What drives Eminem to improve his restaurant's menu items is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure, we have absolutely no interest in trying any items from Em's Mom's Spaghetti restaurant.
That being said, when is Bun B going to open a Trill Burgers in NYC, b?! We look forward to it, my friend!
