Ahead of her long-awaited return to iconic Coachella, techno superstar Charlotte de Witte released a new single, “Roar.”
Just as a lion's roar can be heard from miles away, the song is an uncompromising anthem that commands respect. Out now through her own label KNTXT, the song is a signature hit for Witte and an impressive display of her production prowess.
“Roar” is a primal scream for the dance floor, a techno behemoth that tramples any notion of subtlety. Driven by its enhanced vocal chorus and relentless bassline, the song serves as a cathartic battle cry for techno faithful.
“'Roar' means power, action, adrenaline and a feeling of letting go,” de Witte said in a press release. “There is a certain energy that is unleashed every time I play this song. 'Roar' quickly became one of the highlights of my sets and I am very excited to release it.”
