With the release of the video of Diddy attacking Cassie in a hotel in 2016, many of his fans and peers turned their backs on the Hip-Hop icon. Now, you can add Ray J to that growing list, as he thinks the Bad Boy founder deserves a hand.
Days after Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace said she would welcome the chance to slap Diddy for his abusive ways, Ray J echoed the sentiment during an interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay. Delving into his friendship with P. Diddy, Shannon asked Ray J for his thoughts on The Diddler's situation following the release of Cassie's video and what else has been seen as well.
Without mincing his words, Ray J expressed his frustration to Diddy. “Everyone is confused, but we can't be cool after this. It's unforgivable, it's too much,” he said. “Never being around ourselves and our world because we don't approve of that is definitely a fact. And from there you have to go on this journey alone and find yourself and find forgiveness for yourself somewhere away from where we are. There's no room for that here.”
In addition to asking Diddy to distance himself and everyone else who isn't part of the abusive culture, Ray J believes a public beating would be the appropriate punishment for the Hip-Hop superstar gone public pariah.
“The host needs a public whipping. That's the only way it will be right. With a pubic whip.” Proving that Puff should be tied with his hands in the air, Ray J says P. Diddy should hit “100 lashes.”
Yeah, we're not sure if this exact method of punishment is required. We'd rather Biggie's mom slap him in public while he's being taken to jail or something. I am just saying'.
Ray J also took time to apologize to Cassie for not knowing what was going on when he kicked it with her and Puff and praised her for being strong through such difficult times saying, “You are strong. I am sorry for all that you have encountered. I was near you, I was near you. I never knew that and I apologize for still being only around me.”
