Normani is getting a ton of love from her former Fifth Harmony bandmates.
After years of teasing that her debut was on the way, Normani's dopamine finally arrived on June 14 — featuring collaborations from Gunna, Cardi B, James Blake and more. The star shared a festive post on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Thank you Jesus. thank you jesus thank you jesus I've really been here all morning trying my best to find the words to express my gratitude for everyone who has put up with me through this whole process and who has continued to believe in me.”
He continued, “This album has been one of the most difficult things in my life over the years. I literally can't even fully express my appreciation right now because of how overwhelmed my heart is in the most magical way possible. ahhhhhh my thoughts are obviously all over the place lol I'll try again tomorrow hahaha.”
Upon seeing the post, Camila Cabello shared a sweet comment, writing, “Putting out a project is vulnerable and difficult and you do it beautifully! Congratulations on your first album and many more to come!!!!!!!!”
Normani then replied, “@camila_cabello thank you so much for this 🖤 this seriously means a lot and I'm proud of you. you're next let's go.”

Since going solo, Normani has reached the Hot 100 chart four times with “Love Lies” featuring Khalid and “Dancing With A Stranger” featuring Sam Smith each reaching the top 10. Released in 2021, the her lead single “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B also charted, peaking at No. 14 and staying on the chart for 20 weeks.
