Modern Baseball went on an indefinite hiatus in 2017, but today they announced special reissue of their breakthrough album, You will miss everything, to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The new version is released on September 27, via Run for coverand includes a 96-page hardcover photo album taken by Jess Flynncomplete with commentary from the band for each photo and a 7” with unreleased demos by the Philadelphia emo band. “When I look at the memories of that time – hazy mornings in the van, Ian's wild smile on a floodlit stage – I can't remember my own perspective. Mostly I see Jess's pictures,” said Modern Baseball singer-guitarist Jake Ewald. “I'm grateful not only for those moments that were made permanent, but also for what Jess taught me as an artist. To walk quietly, thoughtfully, so that the light can be seen. Some people used to call Jess “the unzip”. On the road he had the uncanny ability to capture us at our most joyful and serious, but also at our most necessary, our most painful. While everyone in the room was staring at us, Jess saw us. For that, thank you, Jess.”

It reached No. 97 on the Billboard 200, in part, thanks to the popularity of their single “Your Graduation”. Modern Baseball released another album, Holy Spiritin 2016 before disbanding the following year.
