Tim Bowman Jr. lands his third chart topper Advertising signGospel Airplay chart and backing choir Faith City Music adds its second leader as “Nobody But God” climbs to No. 1 on the July 13 survey. The song grew 8% in plays during the June 28-July 4 tracking week, according to Luminate.
Detroit native Bowman Jr. co-wrote the track with Demi Borders and Joshua Davis, and he produced it with Pjay Edmund.
“This is my third No. 1 hit and I couldn't be more grateful,” Bowman Jr. says. Advertising sign. “The way radio listeners have rallied around this song blows my mind.”
Bowman Jr. previously topped Gospel Airplay for two weeks in June 2023 with “Jesus,” also featuring Faith City Music and Le'Andria Johnson, and “I'm Good,” which was No. listed for one week in February 2016.
Bowman Jr. boasts two other top 10s among his eight appearances on the Gospel Airplay charts: “Fix Me,” which peaked at No. 6 in April 2017, and Vickie Winans' “How I Get Over You” , in which he participated (No. 3, December 2009).
“Nobody But God” is by Bowman Jr. and Faith City Music's LP Welcome to Faith Citywhich peaked at No. 4 on Top Gospel Albums in November 2022, becoming his third top 10 and Faith City Music's first.
Plus, like father, like son: Bowman Jr.'s dad, Tim Bowman, a well-known jazz and gospel artist, has also entered the Gospel Airplay top 10, as “My Praise” reached No. 8 in 2005.
