Marvel confirmed new details about The Fantastic Four film during its presentation at Comic-Con on Saturday. Most notably, the film now has a title: Fantastic Four: Getting Started.
It will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025. Fantastic Four: Getting Started It stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic; Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm / Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing.
The cast also includes Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal / Silver Surfer, along with John Malkovich, Paul Walter Hauser and Natasha Lyonne in undisclosed roles.
Filming is scheduled to begin next Tuesday, July 30. Director Matt Shakman described the setting as “a retro 1960s future.”
