Could this be the aftermath of fighting and losing to Kendrick Lamar?
It has been detected TMZ Hip HopDrizzy didn't get a warm welcome from locals who attended a Limp Bizkit concert in his hometown of Toronto.
The proud Canadian erupted in boos when Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst announced to the crowd that OVO General was in the building.
Per TMZ Hip Hop:
Limp Bizkit played in Toronto on Thursday night — teasing their local crowd with the mere mention of Drizzy's name as a featured guest… and it didn't go down too well, as the crowd booed him.
The video never shows Drake appearing on stage … but they sure weren't happy to hear he was in the building — which he left Fred Durst completely speechless.
He questioned the hate, saying… “I thought Drake was your boyfriend? What; No; Drake is my home.”
The celebrity gossip website reports that the boos got even more aggressive and the f-bombs rang out as Durst continued to talk about Drake before moving into his next song, “Take a Look Around,” which he dedicated to the 6 God.
To his credit, Drake was taking his L in high gear.
He's still performing at venues, releasing new music and posting on social media at his regular rate.
So if it's hurting on the inside, it doesn't show it at all, but we'd have to imagine busting it in the city stings a lot.
Well.
We're sure Kendrick Lamar is somewhere laughing at Drake's current mishaps.
At least Drake can count on DJ Akademiks to be by his side when all is said and done.
