Snoop Dogg has been busy in the midst of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, but he's still finding time to indulge in some culture.
In a hilarious Instagram video posted on Friday (August 2), the rapper embarks on a solo tour of the city's famous Louvre museum while no one else is around. “We're going to rummage,” he tells the camera, walking through the empty halls.
The Dog begins by checking out the world's most famous painting, Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. “I just found out I was Mona Lisa's twin brother, Tony Lisa,” he jokes, staring at the painting in awe, checking to see if the portrait's eyes follow him by observing it from different angles.
Snoop then picks up the 'Winged Victory of Samothrace' sculpture, correctly guessing which of the masterpiece's wings are an original part of the statue and which had to be replaced. “I like that,” he says in disbelief. “This is beautiful.”
Later, the “Drop It Like It's Hot” artist mistakes a painting of the Roman god Cupid for a woman—that is, until he takes a closer look at the figure's anatomy. “Isn't she a lady?” observes. “Cupid? I knew it was someone I knew.”
Snoop has been in the city of love since the Olympics began on July 26, serving as a commentator for NBC. So far, she has participated in the torch relay, interviewed athletes and cheered on Team USA in various events, including the women's gymnastics qualifier — just days after the Simone Biles-led team won gold in the all-around .
The musician also took gymnast Suni Lee through a round of hilarious statements before testing his swimming skills with Olympian Michael Phelps in the pool.
