Dan Snaith will return, on October 4, with Honeyhis first record Caribou from 2020 Suddenly. The album, released by Mergefeatures recent singles “Volume,” “Honey,” and “Broke My Heart,” as well as a new one, “Come Find Me,” which you can listen to below. It comes with a video in which a dancer in a comically large Dan Snaith mask dances around London, to the dismay of passers-by (including Snaith himself).
In a press release, Snaith said of the new song, “I love that kind of chord sequence and that kind of French touch, but it took a long time to find the right vocal hook and breakdown and make it more pop. and in brief. When I play this in a DJ set, when it just drops into the song and then all of a sudden it's a song that pops back into the wave—I know nobody in the crowd has actually heard it before, and yet people always respond to it in a really emotionally charged, euphoric way… That's always the best litmus test that a piece has come together the right way.”
