Joe Keery has addressed rumors that he has collaborated with Taylor Swift on new music.
The Stranger Things actor was photographed leaving Electric Lady Studios in New York on the same day as the Shake It Off creator in June, leading many to wonder if they were recording together.
Joe was asked to address the speculation during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.
“That was a really confusing day because I was in there with (a friend), going about my business, doing nothing, and then I walked out the door and it was like a thousand people standing outside,” he recalled. “People would look at me waiting for Taylor and say, 'Who's that guy?' And then I walked down the block and somebody said, 'Hey, that's… oh, that's the guy,' and so some people came down.”
When pushed further, the 31-year-old actor teased, “Maybe this will create something. Maybe this experience created something in the universe, but I don't know, we'll see.”
In addition to acting, Joe releases music under the stage name Djo. Djo's debut album, Twenty Twenty, was released in 2019 and his follow-up, Decide, in 2022.
