The West Coast emcee serves as the video's narrator, almost like a ghost weaving the story that unfolds as the song plays. As Wildcard spits his imagery-heavy lyrics THNDDRTHF's moody production, the rapper watches a card game that eventually turns from mostly friendly to disastrous for one of the players. We won't spoil how or why it happens, but it fits perfectly with the intensity of the song.
The incredibly slick video was shot and edited by Gnarlos Wright from Phobia movieswhile Bryan “Goose” Goslin took additional footage. Together, they capture the high stakes of “Death Card” with evocative visuals Breaking Badespecially the scenes that focus on the card game.
