Last month, Two Shell teased something “extraordinary” and “epic” in a sneak peek on their Instagram. In the video, fans heard a computerized voice constantly reinforcing the idea that the mysterious electronic music duo was about to release something that will change the world forever.
After generating buzz, Two Shell, famous for their unique fusion of hyperpop and techno, finally let the world exhale and revealed their greatest creation to date: a rock.
On the duo's Bandcamp there is a merch page for the season's must-have product, a “Boring Rock.” After initially listing at a much more modest price, the cost rose to £700 at the time of writing, with only two left in stock.
Spoiler alert: it's much more than just a rock. After fans finally received their “boring stones,” they began sharing images of the contents inside. They contained a USB drive, which contains more than 20 tracks, according to a report fromThe independent.
