Adele, like many of us, is glued to the 2024 Olympics. So much so that the singer paused her concert in Munich, Germany, on Saturday night to watch the women's 100-meter final. She even showed the race on the venue's giant screens, allowing the 80,000-strong audience to watch along with her.
Saturday's concert was the second of 10 concerts Adele will perform in Munich. The singer will perform at the Messe München exhibition center, which has been temporarily renamed the “Adele Arena” after a $130 million renovation that included the installation of a 218-by-30-square-meter LED screen, a 4,000-square-meter stage and an English pub. Adele, meanwhile, will perform a new set list that includes selections from songs such as “I'll Be Waiting,” “All I Ask,” “Chasing Pavements” and a cover of Bob Dylan's “Make You Feel My Love.”
Last month, The Killers paused their London concert to show the final moments of England's match against the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.
