Chase Matthew reaches his top 10 Advertising signCountry Airplay chart as his rookie single, “Love You Again,” moves up one spot to No. 10 on the August 10 survey. During the period July 26-Aug. 1 week into tracking, the track is up 3% to 16.3 million audience impressions, according to Luminate.
Matthew, 26, from Sevierville, Tenn., co-wrote the song with Casey Brown and Taylor Phillips. It's from his album Come get your memorywhich peaked at No. 8 on the June 2023 Heatseekers Albums, becoming his second top 10 hit. Born for it reached No. 2 in February 2022.
Meanwhile, “Love You Again” reaches the Country Airplay top 10 in the chart's 62nd week, completing the second-longest trip to the rank in the chart's 34-year history. “You Didn't” by Brett Young reached #10 best in April 2023 in its 70th frame.
Currently on tour, Matthew makes his next stop in Scranton, Pa., on August 3rd.
No. 1 “Song” for two weeks
Shaboozey Leads Country Airplay For Second Week With “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” The track, up 4% to 32.6 million, is only the fourth of 17 No. 1 singles in 2024 to dominate for multiple weeks.
