Billie Eilish is doubling down after her words in a Billboard article went viral. This is what she said. Last week, Billboard published an interview with Billie Eilish where she talked about sustainability in the music industry. One comment in particular caught a lot of attention online. When asked about vinyl production and how Eilish uses recycled materials to make hers, she said: “It's some of the biggest artists in the world that make 40 different vinyl packs that have something unique and different just to keep you going. buying more. And it's infuriating to me that we're still at a point where you care so much about your numbers and you care so much about making money, and it's all your favorite artists doing this shit.” That caused the Internet to shut down. Stan's accounts began pointing the finger at artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Billie herself, saying that they all sell vinyl variants, which Eilish admitted in the article saying, “We all will because [it’s] the only way to play the game. “It’s just accentuating this already confusing way this industry works.” Well, Billie took to IG to double down on what she said and posted, “When it comes to variants, many artists released them, including ME!, which I clearly mentioned in the article” and shared a link so her followers could see the full Billboard article.
