With all the rappers who somehow got involved and took shrapnel in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle across the border, Big Sean managed to be labeled “Safe” from the rap brouhaha of 2024 and now that the dust has settled he is too back on the field with some new work to remind you that he's also pretty good.
Arriving with some new visuals on “On Up,” the Big D rapper takes his family vibes and teams up with his mom, Jhene Aiko, as he looks at himself through the eyes of his newborn brood and shows us how it goes time with his baby boy whenever he is at home. We love this audience. Both the song and the video.
Back in the South, Gunna continues to work himself in the good graces of Hip-Hoppers who may feel something about him and his “One of Wun” music video, Gunna takes on the role of a youth coach and leads a team of young basketball players in the league before taking off with the cheerleaders back home. Well, we didn't see that last part happen, but we're guessing that's how it went down.
