Billboard Italy announces the first local edition of Women in Music

Billboard Women in Music arrives in Europe for the first time with an edition celebrating the talent of Italian artists. Billboard Italia Women in Music will take place on September 16 at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, one of the most famous theaters in the city.

Both the date and the venue are meant to highlight the bridge between music and fashion, as the event will take place just before the start of Milan Fashion Week (September 17-23) and right next to the glamorous Via Montenapoleone fashion district and the his environment.

Since its first edition in 2007, Billboard Women in Music has honored world-renowned artists such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and many other major international music stars. The first edition of Billboard Italia Women in Music will be a unique opportunity to celebrate Italian protagonists, from chart-topping artists to music industry professionals working behind the scenes.

Among the Billboard Italia Women in Music awards are: Woman of the Year, for the artist who stood out the most during the year. Artist of the Year, for the artist with the most memorable live performances. Discovery, for the artist revelation of the year. Icon, celebrating the career of the artist who made entire generations dream with her music and style. A&R of the Year, awarded to the person who discovered the best new talent. Manager of the Year, for the person responsible for all the fundamental decisions of an artist's career. and Style, awarding the creative figure who has developed image projects that have left their mark.
