Luis Alfonso:
Hello! How are you my beautiful people? I am Luis Alfonso, the great man, and I am Bulletin boardLatin artist on the rise. Again. Get up… OK! Hello! How are you my beautiful people? I am Luis Alfonso, the great man, and I am Bulletin boardLatin artist on the rise.
My first memory with music… The person who instilled this passion in me was my maternal grandfather. His name was Fernando, Luis Fernando Vargas. He loved Mexican cultures very much. Since I was a child I was infused with Mexican passion by watching Cantinflas' films. I was watching black and white films of Candinflas, Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infante, Javier Solís, all the Mexican actors of the past. From there the roots of the love for music were born.
I grew to love ranchera and Mexican icons. Also, hand in hand with the passion for music we grew up with, which is the popular local music of Colombia, listening to the music of Mr. Darío Gómez, icons in our country. Caballero Gaucho, Viscontis. Better, music in which we old people sat down to tell the story and listened to it on the “lomplecitos”, on the jukebox, on the radio. They are the elders who took the musical machete and made the path on which the new musical wave is walking today. And they are old people that you see on the street or sit with you and talk to you and give you advice.
