Britney Spears has seemingly responded to Justin Timberlake’s recent comments.
The pop music icon took to Instagram on Thursday to seemingly hit back at the NSYNC star, who reportedly dissed her during his concert in New York City on Wednesday night.
“Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!!!” Britney, 42, wrote on Thursday. “Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I’m not sorry!!!”
During his performance on Wednesday night, Justin reportedly slammed the Toxic singer before allegedly belting out his 2002 hit Cry Me a River, which is believed to be about Britney.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely f**king nobody,” the 43-year-old told the crowd, according to footage posted on social media.
Justin’s comment came three days after the pop princess released a statement on Instagram apologising for “some of the things” she wrote in her tell-all memoir, The Woman in Me, which was published in 2023.
“I wanna apologise for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…” she wrote in the since-deleted post, without specifying which parts of the book she was apologising for.
The Circus hitmaker and Justin dated between 1999 and 2002. In her memoir, Britney made several allegations against her ex, including that he cheated on her and that she had an abortion because he wasn’t ready to be a father.
