Britney Spears she's not afraid to share her obsessions. On Tuesday (October 15), the 'Toxic' singer posted a lengthy tribute to her beloved women on Instagram storiesreeling off a long list of famous singers, actors and models he's obsessed with.
“Women I really admire and crazy girls fighting 😘😘😘!!!” she wrote. “I have girlfriends that I hang out with every now and then but it's not the same as when we were younger!!! But why isn't it??? I wanted to share the women who inspire me!!!” Sure, there are friends he grew up with that were so close they finished each other's sentences and even started talking, walking, and sharing manners.
But eventually “you get married and grow apart,” he said. So Brit ran a list of women who inspire her right now. First it was ex Baywatch Star Pamela Anderson, who said she's a “classic babe and looks so sweet!!!”
He also had good things to say about Vox Lux star Natalie Portman, whom he called the “coolest person”, reminiscing about meeting him on a New York street and realizing they were wearing the same shirt. He also gave props to 'I Luv It' singer Camila Cabello, 'cause she's so beautiful and makes me laugh out loud!!! Her personality is so sweet and comical that I think it's healthy to be silly!!! I wish I was more like that.”
Britney then wondered if it's “even normal to be this beautiful?” About model Kendall Jenner and closed things out with shoutouts to Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore, just because they're “literally gorgeous.” Both women were on hand for Spears' 2022 wedding to now-ex-husband Sam Ashgari. In the end, Spears admitted that even she wasn't sure why she devoted all this to digital ink before concluding with an experiment about what's next.
“I'm leaving to write my novel and learn about myself,” said Spears, who wrote two books with her mother, Lynne Spears, in 2000 Heart to Heart and 2001 A mother's giftbefore releasing her memoir in 2023, The Woman in Me. At press time, no additional information was available on the book from the singer, who said in January that she would “never return to the music industry.”
