The Echeverri-Reglero family is officially a family of four. Camilo and Evaluna announced on social media on Thursday (August 1st) the arrival of their second daughter, Amaranto, who joins her 2-year-old sister Índigo.
“Amaranth. All the frogs came out to sing your welcome. Gold velvet girl. Daddy got you and you stained his hands forever. Lord of midnight. Welcome,” says a shared post on the couple's Instagram accounts, along with a photo carousel that begins with a tender image of the four propped up on a bed, Amaranto on Evaluna, Índigo on Camilo.
There is also a photograph of a white sheet with a pair of hands imprinted in red, something the poem refers to in the caption.
It is not specified where and when Amaranto was born. Camilo's publicist said Billboard Español that no further information will be given at this time.
Camilo and Evaluna married in February 2020 after five years together and became parents in April 2022. Índigo was born months after they announced the pregnancy in the music video of a song named after their daughter.
Earlier this year, in February, they announced they were expecting baby No. 2 with a beautiful poem by Camilo dedicated to his wife, who wrote in the caption: “Officially the Echeverri-Regleros are FOUR.”
“Evaluna, fertile, a mother never ready, a walker discovered on the journey, a new daughter of calm and a killer of haste,” the Colombian singer-songwriter recounts in a video. “Owner of all Sundays, a good downpour and heavy downpour, a tub tester and a volcano diver. A baker by accident, excellent for deliberate lack of trade. A spring has passed. Violator of calendars, harbinger of Christmas and mother of Amaranto and Indigo.”
