Cardi B has opened up about a scary medical crisis that she said almost led to a miscarriage. In a recent X Spaces chat with fans after announcing she's pregnant with her third child, Cardi said the emergency led to a serious intervention.
“I had an af–king freak accident. I don't know how something — well, it wasn't a little, it really hurt,” Cardi said without going into detail about what the accident was or a specific diagnosis. “It doesn't happen often, but it got so big that I was literally paralyzed. And this little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But he didn't. I felt good yesterday. I came home, but I came home high like a kite.”
Cardi continued, “Today, I woke up sober, baby. Pass away. If I don't feel better in four hours, I'm going to the hospital and I don't give af–k. I'm going to overdo this so I can get more morphine. Morphine with me down! I dont give a damn [laugh].”
Cardi posted a pair of photos on Instagram last week revealing her baby bump on the same day Advertising sign has confirmed that the 'Bongos' rapper has filed for divorce from husband Offset for a second time. the couple have two other young children, daughter Kulture, now six, and son Wave, who is almost three.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my strength!” she wrote in her revealing post. “It reminded me that I can have it all! You reminded me that I never have to choose between my life, my love and my passion! I love you so much and I can't wait for you to witness what you have helped me accomplish, what you have pushed me to do! It's much easier to take the twists and turns and trials in life, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to keep going!”
