Chappell Roan heads for UK No.1 with 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess'

Based on mid-week sales and streaming data recorded by Official chart companyChappell Roan is headed for her first No. 1 with The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princessher long-form debut LP in 2023.

Released last October last year, Roan's rise has been rapid and impressive at times, following the discovery of her single 'Good Luck, Babe!', currently at No.2 in the Official UK Chart. a support slot at Olivia Rodrigo's OFFAL tour; and her explosive set at Lallapalooza, which a spokesperson has described as the festival's biggest daytime set ever.

According to the OCC, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess goes 3-1 on the Official Map Update, thanks to the release of a vinyl variant. Two cuts from the LP hit the UK Top 40: 'HOT TO GO! (peaked at No. 19) and 'Red Wine Supernova' (No. 38).
