Late last month, a Tereasa Johnson known Reesa Teesa had social media buzzing with her TikTok series Who TF I Married in which she described how she was hoodwinked into marriage by a man they call “Legion,” who lived every lie imaginable and involved her in his toxic lifestyle.
With her sudden rise to fame, Reesa Teesa became an overnight celebrity in the culture and with that, Charlamagne that God played a joke on her. Unfortunately, it was cut deep.
Now, God apologizes for his mistake. In a recent interview with The Tamron Hall Show, Reesa was asked about the negative feedback she is receiving as a result of her TikTok series. And she admitted that when Charlamagne made the “big back” comment (a joke aimed at people who are overweight), she was “disappointed” and “hurt”.
Of course, Charlamagne the God (who often tells listeners to be compassionate and respect others) apologized to Reesa Teesa for his rude comment, sort of. Charlamagne also reminded everyone that disturbing someone else's peace of mind is never the right thing to do.
“All joking aside, I keep telling you that the easiest way to keep your own peace is not to disturb the peace of others,” Charlamagne said. I disturbed the woman's peace and that was not my intention, so I apologize if my words made her feel that way.''
He also added, “I personally feel that we should stop putting this stuff on social media if you don't want people to have an opinion about it,” he said. “Some of this stuff should just be reserved for our healers if we can't handle people having an opinion on what we're expressing. Keep it off social media.”
Well, we wouldn't call it a full ride back.
Reesa meanwhile has to deal with the subject of her TikTok series, her ex-husband Jerome McCoy aka 'Legion', who is considering suing her over the series, which she says has taken a toll on her his career as a public relations representative in a hospital.
If anything, social media is great for some good fashion relationship drama.
