Charli XCX Reigns Australia With 'Brat'

THE Brat summer is coming back.

Charli XCX has her first number 1 Australia's album chart with Brat (via Atlantic/Warner), which is a 16-1 home power after releasing Brat And it's totally different but still Bratthe highly anticipated remix album from the British producer and artist.

The new collection includes tracks covered by the likes of The 1975, Jon Hopkins, Tinashe and Aussie stars Troye Sivan and Lorde.

Previously, Brat reached No. 3 on the ARIA Chart earlier this year. Lots of pieces of it bounce up on it chart singlesfor the week beginning Oct. 21, including former No. 1 “Guess” (featuring Billie Eilish), down 22-16, “360” returns to No. 43 and “Talk Talk” rebounds to No. 49 .Charli also scores the week's highest new entry with “Sympathy Is A Knife” debuting at No. 21. The new album version features Ariana Grande.

The trio won a Grammy Award and four ARIAs. are up for a further four at this year's ceremony, which takes place on November 20 at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. To date, all RDS albums have reached the top 3 in Australia: Atlas (2013), Flowering (2016) and Surrender (2021) went to No. 1, and Consolation (2018) reached No. 2.

Close behind are American rockers The Offspring with Overcharged (Concord/Universal), new at No. 4. It is The Offspring's ninth Australian top 10 album, a number that includes No. 1 with Breaking (1994) and American (1998).

Despite finally being kicked off the top of the ARIA Albums Chart, Sabrina Carpenter collects an eighth straight week at No.1 on the singles survey with 'Taste'.
