Cher says she's 'proud' of boyfriend Alexander 'AE' Edwards after his fight with Travis Scott

Cher truly believes her boyfriend is strong enough. The iconic singer gave her seal of approval to her fight with Alexander “AE” Edwards at Cannes with Travis Scott after footage ensued Last week.

The “Believe” artist went to X over the weekend, more than a week after Fight after party in Cannes which included AE, Scott and producer Southside, among other crew members involved.

Cher explained that she was “proud” of Edwards – who she has been romantically involved with since late 2022, after meeting at Paris Fashion Week – and said he didn't start the fight, but ended it.

“I'm proud of Alexander,” X burst out on Saturday (June 1). “He didn't start the fight against 2 guys, … He finished it, I gotta love him.”

Fans gushed over Cher's responses, happy to see her supporting AE and that everything was okay after the incident.

“Bless him, not all rubbish posted is rubbish, sad you had to comment on this. I hope AE is ok and you are very hhhh.” one person replied the 78-year-old.

The fight broke out at Richie Akiva's Cannes Film festival afterparty on May 23 behind the DJ booth when Scott and AE started arguing, but it's unclear what exactly sparked the argument.

Sources close to the situation said Advertising sign that La Flame returned with producer Southside, and that's when things became natural. After the brief altercation with punches exchanged, security broke up the fight.

TMZ caught up with AE last week to get Cher's thoughts on the feud, and quoted lyrics from Future and Metro Boomin's “GTA”: “Like Future say, 'Whatever I'm with, I'm gonna I have it too.” My wife, but the lyrics are the lyrics.”
