Azealia Banks she's been tweeting more than she's been releasing new tunes, and while she possesses otherworldly musical talent, she's become known for her social media bras. Unleashing another one of her verbal barrages, Azealia Banks turned her attention Lil Nas Xclaiming it MONTERO The artist is no longer relevant with some heavy dashes of homophobia.
On Sunday (October 27), Azealia Banks opened up the X app and began dissecting Lil Nas X seemingly without prompting.
“Lil Nas X really fell so hard. Lmfao that little f*drag swore it was the tea. B*tch has NO bars. Hahahahahaaa,” Banks shot.
In a now-deleted reply, LNX wrote: “I could never have a hit song again and you would never reach 10th of my success selling chicken sacrificing my spoiled body that hates my miserable life. I love your music btw.”
Banks then hit the gas, writing: “And the f*git u almost didn't have a hit unless they jump crackers and do charity work. You were out here with flies in the corner of your eyes eating a bowl of porridge with a bloated belly saved you .67 cents a day COME ON AGAIN HO @LilNasX I'll put out the fire *tch. Sit down.”
Citing another X reply that mentioned LNX's deleted tweet, Banks made what appeared to be a direct threat.
“Lamp this fight over the scumbag, don't make me take them gay pictures of you making fun of LA lovers with that white boy you hired for rent. You'll get your top exposed by some really fast b*tch. Don't fuck me n*gga,” Banks said.
LNX tried to extend an olive branch on Instagram and shared a screenshot of Banks' track “Out Of Space” from her Fantasy mixtape from 2012, giving the Harlem entertainer props.
“[S]ending u love azealia. I wish you nothing but guidance and clarity. I want you to chase your dreams. get on the f*t It's the best time period in music for your craft to flourish. idc what the f*ck sh*tu say about me. That didn't go down well as Banks just dropped another clip.
“Where, are, your blocks… we're not going to use patronizing to get around the issue here… the thing is, you can't argue with the Rap son. @LilNasX. You are an awesome lyricist with low key musical sensibilities. We need to come to a consensus on where your talent lies. Fine, we can agree your candy for those desperate old white homo's in fashion…but where's your music?' Banks embarked on a thread that became more toxic as it progressed.
