Katharine McPhee:
And I'm Katharine McPhee
David Foster:
And that's Billboard News.
Rania Aniftos:
Hey everyone, welcome back to Billboard News. I'm Rania Aniftos and I'm so honored to be here today with David Foster and Katharine McPhee.
David Foster:
Let's hear it, guys!
Katharine McPhee:
Live studio audience!
Rania Aniftos:
We finally got into the Christmas spirit. You have your Christmas album together, your second Christmas album. Tell me a little bit about why you decided to give it another go?
Katharine McPhee:
It's not really a second Christmas album. The way we look at it is that it's like a full album. Most albums have, what? Thirteen tracks in it.
David Foster:
Correctly.
Katharine McPhee:
So now we just combined the two last year…
David Foster:
We did seven and seven. Seven last year, seven this year.
Katharine McPhee:
Yeah, it's like a big album. So you can now get the whole thing in a kind of bundle and
David Foster:
It's called “Christmas Carols.” Do you know why?
Rania Aniftos:
Why;
David Foster:
“Hey Siri, play Christmas carols.”
Rania Aniftos:
To be fair, it probably doesn't hurt this algorithm, right? SEO to get it to the top
David Foster:
Smart girl.
