Didi seemingly letting people know that he's holding his head high regardless of all the scandals surrounding his name. He recently posted a video hinting that he is enduring all his legal troubles.
As mentionted with Digital Music News, the embattled music mogul has kept a very low profile since being accused of multiple acts of sexual misconduct and more. On Saturday, May 4, he posted a video that opens with a camera panning down a white hallway as the audio of Bishop TD Jakes plays, saying “not hysterical, not frantic, not worried, not worried…but steady in the storm.” It then cuts to footage of Diddy hugging an unknown person and participating in a prayer circle with his family. The closing scene shows The Love Album: Off the Grid Rapper on the beach while it's raining hard, arms raised to the sky. she seems to embrace the moment regardless of the harsh winds.
Although he doesn't speak in the video, it's safe to assume that the bad weather is symbolic of all the legal issues he's faced. On April 26, Didi's legal team filed a motion seeking to dismiss a sexual assault claim because it was “subject to laws that did not exist at the time the alleged misconduct occurred.” The victim, Joi Dickerson-Neal, claims Diddy drugged her and filmed their romantic encounter and later showed it to one of his friends. Essentially, her lawsuit was filed nearly 30 years after she says the incident occurred, and New York State's revenge porn law was not passed until 2019.
