Days after Diddy's legal team scored a victory after prosecutors gathered from his jail cell were thrown out of his case, they are now accusing prosecutors of editing the infamous video of Diddy attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway to make the incident to look worse than this. it was.
According to TMZDiddy claims prosecutors showed the judge overseeing his case an edited version of the video of him groping Cassie in 2016. Diddy says prosecutors did it to prevent the judge from granting him bail and insists that prosecutors manipulated the sequence of events to portray Didi as more dangerous than he actually is. This is coming from the man who allegedly blew up Kid Cudi's car because of Cassie, but we digress.
Per TMZ:
They claim the government has the most complete version of that surveillance video — possibly the version the world saw when released — but, instead, changed the sequence of events to provide the “strongest indications of danger and obstruction.”
Didi insists the video does not show evidence of a “breakout” but rather a “domestic dispute in which he ran down the hotel hallway to get his clothes and cell phone.”
As for some of the violence depicted in this video, Diddy says he didn't “drag” Cassie down the aisle, or throw a vase at her. He claims that he only threw the contents of the vase into Kasi.
Diddy is really going for a Hail Mary with this claim.
While the whole world saw the exact same video, Diddy says it's just a “sad look at a decade-long consensual relationship” and doesn't prove any sex trafficking or atrocities were going on.
While the judge considers Diddy's final argument, the Bad Boy founder will remain behind bars in hopes of seeing the light of day before his trial begins in 2025.
