With Diddy's reputation ruined and his freedom seemingly in jeopardy, the man at least tries to secure his financial situation. Looks like hr has taken steps to ensure his bank account stays healthy (for now).
According TMZ, the man currently referred to as 'The Diddler' in some social media circles has decided to sell all of his shares in Revolt TV and is no longer associated with the company in any way, shape or form. The move comes after the Department of Homeland Security raided his homes following sex-trafficking allegations, prompting Diddy to hop on the first flight to an undisclosed location.
While the buyer of Diddy's stake in Revolt TV wishes to remain anonymous at this time, what we're told is that the network will remain Black-owned. No number was put on the price the owner paid to own Diddy's (not Diddy) piece of the pie.
Per TMZ:
As you know, Diddy has been inactive with the network since then resigned from the presidency last November … and his latest order was notified of the sale, which we're told was completed just this week. We're told it was an amicable deal and everyone is happy.
According to our sources, Revolt's CEO Detavio Samuels and Chief Brand Officer Deon Graham they will remain in their current positions and assist the owner while the ink dries on the contract. One more thing…we're told there won't be any major personnel or production changes for Revolt TV employees.
Our sources tell us that, over time, the new owner will implement his vision… but that for now, things will stay mostly the same as the transition happens.
While the new owner doesn't want to reveal who they might be yet, they plan to make an official unveiling sometime in the near future.
See it be Tyler Perry or someone like that.
While many speculated that the move was due to Diddy's latest legal setback, the news is that the sale of his shares was in motion long before authorities moved on Bad Boy HNIC, and that the timing of everything is just a coincidence. Do with this information what you will.
As for when we'll hear from Diddy himself on all of these matters, that's anyone's guess at this point. But we doubt that will happen anytime soon. But his lawyers call it all a “witch hunt.”
