Sean Kingston he will now have to defend his name in court. He was charged with defrauding more than $1 million in goods.
As mentionted with TMZ, the singer has serious legal issues to deal with. Police raided his home in South Florida on Thursday, May 23, where Janice Turner's mother was arrested. The celebrity gossip site confirmed that Sean Kingston was also arrested at Fort Irwin, California on the same day and made a deal to be extradited back to Florida. He appears to have been a man of his word and was booked into the Broward County Jail on Sunday, June 2.
According in the Sun Sentinel, His mother and the performer were indicted on multiple charges, including four counts of criminal use of personally identifiable information and three counts of grand larceny. Over the past two years the family's name has been linked to multiple charges of defrauding a jeweller, a car dealership and a luxury TV seller. In addition, the arrest warrant alleges he levied nearly $300,000 in fines from Bank of America and First Republic Bank. Bob Rosenblatt's lawyer says BBC that both Sean Kingston and his mother plan to plead not guilty.
