Dua Lipa:
Nobody wanted to let me be Baby Spice because I wasn't blonde. Oh, that was like… it was like a hierarchy on the playground, I guess. It was like, “Okay, you have to be Posh.”

Well, hopefully one day you'll be able to live your Baby Spice life.
Dua Lipa:
Maybe one day, one Halloween, I will become Baby Spice.
Tetris Kelly:
We need to talk about this album. Well, May 3rd. radical optimism. Your third album. How does this new era of Dua Lipa feel?
Dua Lipa:
It feels good. I mean, it feels, for lack of a better word, radically optimistic. With each experience I feel like I'm growing, I'm learning. It's been incredible.
Tetris Kelly:
And what do you think most differentiates this era from the other two?
Dua Lipa:
I think sonically it's very different. I feel like there are also songs that are, you know, more personal in a way that maybe people haven't heard from me before. The struggle, you turn it into something optimistic, but then the juxtaposition, the feeling of optimism, that's always something that's present in my music, it's something that I really strongly believe in. I think I manifest many of the words. that I write or that I sing, because they almost become like a mantra. I sing them every night, I perform them in front of the crowd, people sing them too. So I want there to be a sense of optimism, a sense of light at the end of the tunnel, I think that's the most important thing, I think that, you know, rolling with the punches, that's something we have to do.
