Vedder’s version of “Room at the Top” begins with a ballad-like arrangement led by a simple electric guitar strum and blossoms into a full-blown rock anthem, with an organ solo marking the end. As for Vedder’s voice, it exhibits its signature power, but also masterfully conveys the emotional sensitivity the song requires. Listen to the version below.
Bad monkey is the latest series developed by Bill Lawrence and will star Vince Vaughn, who will play a former detective turned food inspector who becomes embroiled in a web of crime and corruption in Florida.
