Faithless, the legendary electronic music group behind “Insomnia” and “God Is a DJ”, have officially confirmed their long-awaited return with the release of a new single, “Find a Way”.
Known for their innovative fusion of electronic beats with introspective and often profound lyrics, the group's latest project continues their tradition of redefining musical boundaries. Featuring the talents of spoken word artist Suli Breaks, “Find a Way” serves as a vibrant precursor to the band's upcoming eighth studio album, Champion soundcombining infectious rhythms with a funky groove to showcase their renewed energy.
Champion sound promises a rich addition to the band’s extensive discography, a testament to their enduring creativity and innovation, even after the tragic loss of frontman Maxi Jazz in December 2022 due to a long illness. Production on the new album is handled by core members and electronic music pioneers Sister Bliss and Rollo.
The release was announced via an announcement on Faithless' Instagram, but no date has been confirmed and details are still under wraps. “As many of you may have noticed, we're back… A few shows have already been announced, but we couldn't kick off the summer without a little personal note,” Bliss and Rollo wrote on Instagram in April. “Maxi passed away a little over a year ago and we obviously miss him every day. Thank you all for your kind words of support over this past year. It really, really meant a lot.”
“In the meantime, we never stopped (couldn't stop, never wanted to stop!) making music,” the band continued. “Even during Maxi's long illness, we recorded and released 'All Blessed' and now, finally, 8 years after our last live performance, we'll be returning to the festival stages during the summer and are planning some of our own shows for later this year…”
