For the seven young members of YG Entertainment BABY MONSTERMoving around the world as K-pop idols is still a somewhat new endeavor. Despite the months or years of training aspiring artists receive before debuting, BABYMONSTER officially arrived on the scene only a few months ago, in April 2024. This means that preparing for their new release, “FOREVER,” marked one of their first official “comebacks.”
“It’s a very catchy song, perfect for summer, so I hope everyone will listen to it,” says RUKA. “‘FOREVER’ definitely has a more upbeat vibe compared to our previous songs, making it perfect for summer,” confirms CHIQUITA.

This song is a lot of fun. I really enjoy the pre-chorus part. What do you think are some of the key points of the song?
RUSSIAN:I think the key points of our new single, “FOREVER,” are its upbeat and energetic rhythm and the hip-hop style of rapping in the second verse. It’s a very catchy song, perfect for summer, so I hope everyone will listen to it.
Little girl:“FOREVER” definitely has a more upbeat vibe compared to our previous songs, making it perfect for summer. Personally, I find the chorus very catchy, so please give it lots of love!
The energy is very high throughout and the key shift intensifies it. How did you approach this song in the studio?
BRANCH:I tried my best to capture the mood of the song during the recording stages. I was a little worried about hitting the higher notes after the key change, but I think it turned out great.
RORA:I paid the most attention to the chorus and the bridge. Personally, I spent a lot of time perfecting the chorus and re-recorded it several times. As for the bridge, I clearly remember that I focused on the lyrics to convey the dreamlike atmosphere of the song.
