The second wave of Jerry Lorenzo and adidas basketball's Fear of God collection is just around the corner and will hit shelves before the end of the year.
According to Sneaker Newsthe second wave of the popular basketball sneaker line has a December 2024 release date and while adidas' Samba silhouette has taken the streets by storm, the new Fear of God Athletics II Basketball “Night Brown” is sure to find some love among basketball players and general fans alike of sneakers.
While an exact release date hasn't been set yet, we better believe that ballers will be on the lookout. The level of comfort is said to be next level, even though they have yet to become a staple on the professional basketball court.
Per Sneaker News:
To the uninitiated; the previous I Basketball admittedly lacked the intended performance capabilities and never found its way onto the NBA hardwood. However, it gained traction as a lifestyle shoe among fans of Jerry Lorenzo's established design language. The next Fear Of God basketball shoe speaks to the concept behind Lorenzo's 'ESSENTIALS' brand, emphasizing functionality while capturing the same aesthetic that made FOG a household name.
The “Night Brown” colorway comes as a reasonable introductory look, with a dark upper and light midsole. While full technical specs have not been revealed at the time of writing, the shoe features a mesh base, stylish Three Stripes lining and a twisted radial underfoot. White and gray colorways are also making the rounds on social media, and as reported, Lorenzo previewed another version with a TPU cage in early October 2024. However, no details have been released about this shoe yet.
We can't get in front, those knuckles actually look pretty sharp. I'm just saying.
