Months ago, it was reported that an indictment was imminent in connection with the Diddy investigation that authorities had opened, and while that day has yet to come, it appears that the feds are hard at work crossing their T's and I's before enacting the “Sisterly Love” law.
According to TMZthe feds are investigating a specific hotel in Miami as they continue to look for evidence of wrongdoing by Diddy and have not only subpoenaed the hotel for their records of Diddy's stay, but also named 50 Cent's mom, Daphne Joy, in the subpoena . also. As you may or may not remember, Joy's involvement in Diddy's antics led to a weird confrontation between Stevie J and 50 Cent earlier this year that didn't take place until a few social media posts ago.
But now that he's back in the limelight with this new summon, one can only wonder if 50 will once again start trolling either his mom or Diddy, as he's been known to do. But until that happens (or not), authorities will continue to look for more evidence as the search for Didi continues to heat up.
Per TMZ:
The subpoena specifies the period from January 1, 2008 to the present, asking for check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences and requests, and billing information, including room service.
Federal prosecutors also requested email and mailing addresses and phone numbers, along with payment methods such as cash and credit cards.
Prosecutors also requested computer IP addresses and login details for the individuals, as well as copies of their IDs and vehicle details. In addition, the feds were asked about the surveillance footage at the hotel.
The new subpoena was only issued a few weeks ago… so it looks like authorities are still hard at work investigating Diddy.
While Diddy was able to settle with Cassie, he still has a few other lawsuits he's currently fighting in court in hopes of getting them dismissed, including the one that essentially started this avalanche, the Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones suit.
How this ends is anyone's guess. But we're pretty sure Diddy himself either knows he'll be cleared of all charges, or if he's planning to fly to a country that reportedly won't extradite him to the US if wanted.
