If you're an avid musician and head-banger fan, Minnesota's Bass Ribbon Pines Festival could be the perfect setting for your perfect summer weekend.
Scheduled for July 18-21, the three-day camping, music, arts and recreation festival will take place at East Bethel's Blue Ribbon Pines Disc Golf Course, just 30 minutes north of Minneapolis. The event, now returning for its fourth year, is the “Original EDM Disc Golf Festival,” according to its organizers.
Headlining the first day is popular bass music duo Smoakland, who are set to head north amid a spirited tour to energize the Bass Ribbon Pines faithful. Day two brings to the course the promise of the “Wubs & Dubs” double disc golf tournament, as well as the TVBOO main event, whose deep, distorted music is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Dirt Monkey headlines day three, bringing the Midwest festival to a spectacular and painful end.
Necks be damned, other heavyweight dubstep and bass artists on the lineup include Hydraulix, Luzcid, TYNAN, Virus Syndicate, GorillaT and IVORY. Check out the full schedule below.
Purchasing a ticket to this woodland festival includes unlimited privileges to play disc golf, with nighttime light-up versions of the popular game. Also included with your purchase is the promise of many art vendors and hands-on painting activities spread throughout its three days, all following a pre-party on Thursday.
