Frankie Muniz has taken the next big step in his professional racing career by signing on as a full-time driver for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The Malcolm in the Middle star will drive the No. 33 F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing, the team announced on Tuesday. Muniz, who began his professional career in 2006, competed full-time in the lower tier ARCA Menards Series last year and has also driven limited races in the Xfinity Series (one tier above Trucks).
For the uninitiated, the Truck Series ranks above the ARCA Series as one of the top three national NASCAR series. Muniz has already competed in two Trucks races in 2024, with his best finish being 29th in Kansas on September 27th.
“I want people to know that I’ve literally dedicated my life to this,” Muniz told PEOPLE. “I love it. When I’m not in the race car, I’m thinking about being in the race car. I’m training, I’m in the simulator at Ford [and] watching past races at the racetracks… I’m going to just be as prepared as humanly possible.”
After finishing fourth in the season standings for the ARCA Series in 2023, Muniz looks poised to make a bigger splash at the next level. His next Trucks race is on Saturday in Miami.
