Beyoncé dominates again, as Chappell Roan is nominated, whether we like it or not. The industry heads to the bar… and the culture says [“They not like us”]. Here are some key takeaways from the 2025 Grammy nominations. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist this year, with 11 nominations, including her Album of the Year nomination for 'Cowboy Carter,' where she's nominated for albums like 'The Tortured Poets Department ', 'Brat', 'Hit Me Hard and Soft', 'Short n' Sweet' and some outliers like Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier. Chappell Roan is also nominated for Album of the Year, plus she earned a nomination for Best New Artist with Sabrina, Doechii, Teddy Swims and more. He even famously said that he “hoped not to win.” Shaboozey is also nominated for Best New Artist as well as Song of the Year against Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars with “Die with a Smile” and “Not Like Us,” which is also nominated for Record of the Year against a lot of people I've talked to, plus by The Beatles.
