He stops by Billboard and shares how he was inspired to release his debut album in three parts, his experience opening for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, and how he’ll be opening for Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n Sweet Tour. Griff also shares how he’s preparing for his first tour and more!

Yeah. Thanks for being here. You have some very exciting tour announcements. And then obviously your debut album that we've all been waiting for. It was announced that you're opening for Sabrina Carpenter this fall. Congratulations on that.

So if you can remember, how did you find out this was happening?
Tap:
I was doing my first European tour. I had just finished a show and I was getting on the tour bus and my manager called me and I had to get off. And he was like, “Sabrina Carpenter wants you to join her on tour,” which was obviously very surreal and it’s such an honor that she wanted that to happen. I first met her at a Grammy party the last time I was in LA. And then I saw her the last time she was in the UK for a festival. So it was nice, just hanging out and saying hi, but yeah, I’m really excited.
