Add Gunna to the long list of rappers dissing Drake. On two tracks on his new album One from Wunthe Atlanta rapper appears to take a few shots at Drake, who appears to still be licking his wounds from his fight with Kendrick last month.
Gunna wastes no time as he hits the Canadian rapper with a ghost jab on album intro “Collage,” rapping, “Thank God I didn't need a writer/ I'm working but they think they're entitled.” Then on track 11, “Still Prevail,” he disses 6 God more directly, saying, “I clear all the tabs/ They pay for their abs.”
Recently, Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar made both points when dissing Drake. Ross addressed the ghostwriting claims in his “Chamagne Moments” diss, spitting: “Ghostwriters, they can floss what you could have.” She also accused Drake of getting not only a nose job, but also a pot belly, giving birth to the nickname BBL Drizzy that has been popularized among rap fans. During a rant at the end of his diss track, the Miami rapper said, “You had that surgery, that six pack is gone. That's why you wear that joke on your show. You can't hide it, n—ah.'
On “Euphoria,” Kendrick took a jab at abdominal trauma, rapping, “Let your core crowd enjoy it, then tell them where you get your abs from,” and an idol telling Drake, “It ain't 20 v. , it's a v. 20, if I should strike n—s that write with you.'
We have no idea why Gunna sent these shots to Drake. He has to line up with fellow Atlantans Future and Metro Boomin.
