Hey now, this is what dreams are made of! Hilary Duff announced on Tuesday (May 7) that she and husband Matthew Koma welcomed their new daughter last week, sharing photos of the singer-actress' water birth at home and revealing the little one's unique name on Instagram .
In the pictures, an emotional Duff sits in a bathtub holding the newest addition to her family, kissing her just-a-minute-old baby on the forehead. One particularly adorable shot captures the girl's round cheeks and full head of dark hair, already long enough to form an involuntary mohawk.
Confirming that the newest addition to her family was born on May 3, Duff wrote: “Townes Meadow Bair…now we know why she made us wait so long… She was perfecting those Cheeks!”
“I've been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the last 5 days of meeting you, looking at you and smelling you have been pure magic,” she added. Lizzie McGuire alum. “We all love you as if you were here all beauty.”
With the arrival of Townes, Duff is now officially a mother of four. She also shares 5-year-old Banks Violet and 2-year-old Mae James with Koma, as well as 11-year-old son Luca Cruz with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
The “With Love” singer first announced that she and Koma were expecting in December by sharing photos of her clever Christmas card on Instagram. “So much for silent nights,” read the greeting, which featured a photo of Duff carrying her bump as Coma and her kids posed in their PJs next to her. “Pass over buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!”
