I guess I'm to blame for breaking that superstar's DNA. Great success arrived. Hit-Boy arrived. Hit-Boy arrived, C III arrived. The best is yet to come.

You're watching Billboard News.
Tetris Kelly:
Hey, it's Tetris with Billboard News, and I'm honored to be with a man who has so many hits, that's his name. Hit-Boy, man. What's happening? How are you?
Hit-Boy:
I am a good man.
Tetris Kelly:
Let's talk about this Grammy nomination. Your eleventh nomination: Non-Classical Producer of the Year. Do you notice anything different on your eleventh time?
Hit-Boy:
Oh man. It's crazy because I didn't expect… I mean, I have no expectations when it comes to awards and stuff like that. But even being in the nominations, it impacted me this year because this whole year I've been focusing on things that I can control, which were my own projects, working with my father, releasing a project with Musiq Soulchild, so everything you know about my nomination was mostly things that, you know, I really put my heart and soul into, so it was different.
Tetris Kelly:
And then, I mean, you've worked on as many projects this year as you said. How do you feel like you compare when you watch “I'll Take on Jack Antonoff, You Know, My Friend from Georgia, Metro Boomin,” like, what do you think sets you apart as a producer?
