Victoria Oakley is the new chief executive of the IFPI.
Oakley will join the international label trade association in June from the Portland-based global strategic communications and advocacy consultancy, where she currently serves as Managing Director.
In her new leadership role, Oakley will coordinate with the Federation's national network of groups as it continues its work to promote and defend the value of recorded music and the rights of the label's 8,000 members from 70 countries around the world.
Oakley succeeds Frances Moore, who will retire in December 2023 after leading the trade organization since 2010.
More to come.
